Decide, act, make!

Our basic nature is action, not submission. We create our own future.

Acting is simply choosing what to do or not to do, but in a group is  harder to coordinate actions, and, above all, deciding who does what.

Besides personal decisions, there are also decisions taken within a group, a team, and that’s where acting makes a difference.

Do we really know what we want to do? Do we exactly know what we’ve been asked to do on the basis of our skills and uniqueness? The rule is, put planning into action!

Action depends from decision. This step is always given for granted, but the main cause of most failures is indecision itself.

Not deciding has many causes, first of all fear: we are all resistant to change as a carrier of innovation but also instability for leaving a known situation for an unknown one.

Maybe, we’re not used to deciding, but now there’s a time schedule and our responsibility towards the other person.

In the crucial moment, listen and focus on your passion on what has helped you coming so far. Deciding literally means “cut away”, give up something to get something else.

If you have a clear direction, and the goal to achieve, deciding and taking actions will be much easier.

What’s the advantage of acting together? What is really important in the value of relation?

First of all, we’re not alone in deciding and acting, we can inspire and encourage one another.

We also have a great advantage, an ongoing comparison based on the steps we made to verify the direction we’re following to reach our common goals.

Healthy discussions enrich people, they can share and have new ideas boosted by everybody. Working in a team, common goals need common actions, each tailored on someone, but all focused in the same direction.

I quote Ghandi “You may never know what results come of your action, but if you do nothing there will be no result.”

Action leads to new things, new people, new opportunities and endless possibilities.

Listen to yourself, take courage and…Make!
